The Precept by Polester is a concept vehicle that is “under full-scale development and on its journey to reality in the coming years”.
The concept even comes with it’s own YouTube documentary. Yes, the press release states “YouTube documentary”. Here it is…
The point of the documentary series will focus on Polestar demonstrating transparency about what goes into making a concept car. As stated by Maximilian Missoni, Head of Design at Polstar, ” “The documentary series will show how we work, the challenges we face and how we overcome them, first in producing the amazing show cars we built in 2020, and of the real production vehicle starting to take shape.”
Polestar has stated it plans to be climate-neutral by 2030. This can be seen in various elements that make up the Precepts interior specifically new-age, experimental materials which incorporate recycled and natural resources. These are seen in the 3-D knit used for the seat covers, flax-based composites used for interior panels, and recycled cork vinyl used for supporting seat panels and arm rests.
