A Holiday surprise for Hyundai owners

Hyundai announced today that “Current Hyundai EV customers eligible to receive free North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter starting in Q1 2025”.

Hyundai has also noted that NACS adapters will be available for sale through their dealer channel.

Hyundai is the first automaker outside of Tesla to build cars with NACS as standard for 2025 with the recently announced 2025 Hyundai Ioniq5 and Ioniq5 XRT as well as all future electric cars going forward.

Genesis has also announced similar plans but details have yet to be shared. Kia has not shared if they intend to offer NACS connectors for their customers. Keep an eye out here on GreenCarGeek to learn more on Genesis and Kia.
